A number of groups have already subbed this, but since we already decided to do this a long time ago~ we still did it. Hihi~! Well, here you go~
Some info/notes after the cut.
I have a few points to... well, point out (tehe~) for this release:
- Cynthia keeps mixing English into her speech so we decided to make that stand out by using a different font.
- Cynthia also keeps mixing the wrong syllables into her Japanese words, so we've decided to use wrong english words that sort of sound alike in our subs.
- For the titles, I thought leaving Terrasse makes the first title look more classy. Or something. lol. Also, both titles had terms originating from French words, it seems. I don't know French but yeah. Also, it seems the usual (?) English term for a cafe terrasse is a sidewalk cafe. And so, we left the French-ish terms. I don't know French though. Oh, I already said that.
- This is more like extra info, but the locations for One Off seems to be based off real places in Japan. They even have a One Off-related printout of sorts over there lol. The actual places in the anime seem to be fictional though (we just decided to use the name that sort of...sounded...alike...maybe..... .... .. .). Also the World's 100 Towns Selection thing is probably based on Japan's 100 Towns Selection (guidebook) thing. I know they're Japanese pages. I didn't really read them either, but I just wanted to point out that they exist.
- Seeing as the anime *sort of* showcases Japanese places/Japan (aside from showcasing Honda), we've decided to leave some words in Japanese. They're pretty well known anyway and I'm including related wiki links below. Cynthia went to a place she's never visited before and learns and experiences new things, so we thought it would be nice if the viewers of the show can somehow share that experience. D'aww. Hihi. <3
- Err... I think that's all. Links then: Wabi-sabi, Tamagokake Gohan, Soba, and Miso Oden.
Oh, and I just want to recommend Gyudon (with a raw egg!) to anyone who hasn't tried it. Yumm~ (º﹃º)
